Scott Owen, died on the plane, but I did not know until later.  He went to my church.  At his funeral, my pastor said, “God has a purpose for everyone – For Scott to die, and for Paul Verheyden sitting in the back, meant to survive that crash.”

I was not physically injured except for hand burns and smoke inhalation. but I had emotional and spiritual problems. I thought I was fireproof, doing things no Christian husband or father should do.  Then, 4 years later, men laid hands on my head and prayed for me and I had a miraculous healing.  2002 all things became new.
